Family Faith Formation

Family Faith Formation at New Life is just that!  Families who walk with God on their life’s journey find value and validation for who they are, what they have, and where they are going.  Children’s greatest teachers are their parents.  Parents who model the practices of worship, education, prayer, and other spiritual practices encourage their children to do the same.

Our theme is “Two Hours on a Sunday.”  Our hope is for each family to give to God “Two Hours on a Sunday” through
Worship – celebrating God in community with others and
Faith Formation – growing in our understanding and knowledge of God.

Join us as for four evenings of good fun for all ages.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a great meal in the Community Room.  Then, children and their family groups will proceed to the
outside dressed in first century garb.  There will be entertainment, snacks, animals, and opportunities to learn a life-skill with some hands-on learning.

Each evening, we will watch as a story unfolds.

This is an event for families with children grade 4 and younger.  Parents are strongly encouraged to be part of the happening as well, not only watching but also participating in the events.

KidZone

KidZone offers our younger children a space where they can explore the world that God has given them and to build friendships.  While we support families worshiping together we also want parents to be able to actively worship and participate in other opportunities that are offered on Sunday mornings.  We are located in the hallway off the Community Room .  We welcome children toddlers-age 4 during 9:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday Worships.

If you have any questions or special circumstances can be directed to Gail Kriel at 608-206-3156.  Please also let us know if you are available to be a caregiver!

Youth Mission Trip

Mission Trips are a great way to serve others, serve God and have a great time all at the same time.  Interested adults, parents and students (those who will be in 9th grade in fall and up) are encouraged to contact the church office if you are interested in our future trips.  It costs some money to attend the trip, but together we can do miracles, we don’t want the cost to keep you away.  Participation in fundraisers and asking for support from others are just a few of the ways you will gather funds and prayer for your trip.  If you have further questions, contact John or Mary Rauwolf at 846-9095 or Paula Severson at 223-9337.

God’s Girls

Do you know that God is WILD ABOUT YOU?   FOR REAL!

Through our love and faith in God, we can all do amazing things.

Girls entering 5th grade and up join us for each month to work on our bonds with each other, knowing we are not alone we will help our inner beauty emerge.  We will work together to see our challenges, experiences and the world around us from a new perspective with knowing God is always by our side.
