"Soul Food" Meals Team

A ministry to provide meals to those in need.

This ministry is an opportunity for anyone to take up the challenge Jesus gives us to help our brothers and sisters in their time of need by providing meals.

Jesus said:

"Come you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the Kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in. Then the righteous will answer him, “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you? Then Jesus will reply, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me" Matthew 25:34-40

“Soul Food” Meal Team Ministry is a vital ministry opportunity that can change lives and have a profound impact on those in need of the meals provided. Meals are delivered on an “as needed” basis for anyone who finds themselves in a situation where making meals is either impossible or very difficult. The reasons meals are provided are varied.

If you enjoy preparing and delivering a meal for others this is a meaningful way for you to reach out and make a difference. Meal team providers are assigned to a team. When a need arises the team leader is informed and would contact each member on the meal team to schedule the delivery of meals. You would prepare the meal as needed and drop it off with any necessary instructions on the agreed upon date and time.

All pertinent information would be provided to you by the team leader ahead of time.
