In a growing church such as New Life there are always opportunities to assist in ministries and the overall work of the church through administrative tasks and other miscellaneous responsibilities. The options are varied and important to the work of the church. It takes many hands to do God’s work on earth. If you are interested in any of these opportunities please contact the church office for further information or click here to register for any one of the options listed below.
Gather all Sunday bulletins left throughout the New Life building following worship on Sunday and replace any inserts that are missing and remove certain documents from each bulletin. Return to the church prior to Wednesday for further assembly for the following Sunday. Sign up on a rotating schedule or for every week.
Pick up bulletins on Wednesday afternoon and insert any new bulletin announcements and other documentation for the following Sunday. Assembled bulletins must be returned on Friday before 2 pm. Those who sign-up will be placed on a rotation with the team of assemblers. You would be responsible to assemble bulletins about every 2 months.
Following Sunday worship the worship center chair backs need refilling and clean-up so the space is welcoming for those that attend the following week. This job entails refilling chair backs with the following items as needed: Kleenex packs, offering envelopes, hand sanitizer and pens as well as general overall pick-up and organization of the chairs backs in the worship center.
Nametags are an important part of our welcome and community at New Life. Each week nametags must be refiled in alphabetical order and lanyards untangled and reset for the following Sunday. This role also includes periodically going through all nametags and filing any incorrectly filed nametags and to request new nametags and remove nametags as necessary.
New Life Church has numerous photos taken of all our ministry events happening throughout the year. These photos are used in Power Point presentations for worship, in our newsletters, on our website and given to those that participate in these events as requested. This ministry role includes maintaining photos and providing availability for ministry team leaders and families as needed. Computer experience a must. If you like to manage photos and know how to store them for future use this role is for you.
We use many craft items for our various ministry opportunities at New Life including our children and family ministries. We have a storage area assigned specifically for storage of these types of supplies that regularly needs reorganizing and updating. If you enjoy organizing the details of craft items and sense you are called to help in this way, sign up today.
