Lent is the season of spiritual preparation starting on Ash Wednesday and ending on Holy Saturday before Christ’s Resurrection. For many it is a rich time of journey and reflection. Discover some tools to stretch out into Lent with and learn how that might look like in your own everyday life. Led by Terri Beck-Engel

THE PATH TO THE CROSS-
DVD study with Ray Vander Laan
Journey along with tour guide and historian Ray Vander Laan. Filmed onsite where Bible events actually took place, Ray weaves together historical, cultural, and geographical contexts to reveal keen insights into how people in biblical times understood God and Jesus’ teaching . God’s story culminates with the intense devotion of his people in this 11th volume of the Faith Lessons series. Discover how their passionate faith prepares the way for Jesus and his ultimate act of obedience and sacrifice at the cross. Then, be challenged in your own life to live as God leads. Please come join us for this wonderful DVD teaching, prayer, good conversation and supportive friendship.
If this is your first time as part of a woman’s gathering or your 21st you will be part of a setting that is safe and supportive. We meet weekly at New Life. Come as you can. 4th Monday of the Month from 6-8 pm
Do you have a love for fibers (knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving or felting, etc.) and enjoy sharing your experience and wisdom about your craft? Perhaps you would like to learn a new one, you’re exactly the kind of person we’re looking for.

2nd Monday of the Month at 6:30 pm
Rubber stamping is fun! All supplies are provided and there is no cost. Each month we will be doing cards. Join us the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30 pm from September through May at New Life Church. Contact Cheryll Steinke.
3rd Saturday of the Month at 9 am
Make time to do your scrapbooking while visiting with others in the process. We meet the 3rd Saturday of each month beginning at 9am from September through May. Bring your own lunch or order with the group. Any questions, contact Kelli Heintz.
