What to Expect
A Friendly Greeting!
We’ve got special guest parking near the front of the church, set aside just for you! When you arrive on Sunday morning you’ll notice our greeters out in the parking lot and inside our front lobby.
Inside our lobby, our greeters will do their best to help you get oriented and find out everything you need to feel comfortable-Like church info, where’s coffee, worship, restrooms and cool stuff for kids.
Our Community Room is a great place to grab a cup of coffee to take into worship. Our Community Room Resource Table has free info & support material you can pick up for your own use.
Check out our Bookstore too while you’re in the Community Room. It’s a great resource for growth and discovery.
Our kiosk in our front lobby has info about New Life Happenings as well as in our church bulletin you’ll recieve from your usher.
We offer a Free Breakfast between 9:00am-10:30am the first Sunday of the month. A great way to meet new friends and feed the kids!
Sunday Worship Events
We have 3 Sunday Worship Events. Worship lasts about an hour.
8:00am Traditional Worship – This Worship event has more “classic” elements of worship with a choir, hymns and is a bit more contemplative.
9:15am* & 10:30 am “Way Cool” Worship- This Worship event has a contemporary live rock band –very high energy, multi-media and expressive.
*Worship For Kids (First Sunday of every month at 9:15am October-May) - This joyous Worship celebration is geared towards the young and young at heart! Join our puppet friends for worship and celebration of Gods love.
*ReFresh: SpiritSong Worship (Third Sunday of every month at 9:15am) - This contemplative worship style is very prayer focused, free-form and allows us to quietly settle in to an awareness of Gods’ Presence as we acknowledge and celebrate who God is and what God is doing in our lives. A small ensemble, keyboard driven, provides the musical foundation with both songs and hymns.
What you’ll find at all three Worship events is a message that is a “live life to the fullest as God intends” with real life applications and encouragement.-Never boring or preachy.
We love having kids in worship. Besides our regular seating we have tables set up in back for families who like to spread out a bit.
Activity Bags are located in baskets at the back of Worship for our little ones to use.
Kid Zone: Adult staffed childcare is also available for kids 3yr & under during 9:15am & 10:30am Worship and is located in the Education Wing.
Connections
When you visit New Life, everything we have going on is open for you to be part of, if you wish. Our Community Room is a great place to gather after worship to meet new friends and enjoy coffee & snacks.
Kids love the playground! We have quieter places to gather also, like our indoor Prayer Room and outdoor Rock Garden and Labyrinth.
Take one of our Adult “Access” Classes, or if you’d like to know more about New Life, we offer casual lunch gatherings, Guest Gatherings and New Life Classes. Adult classes are offered Sunday Mornings at 9:15am or 10:30am, on Sunday Evening, as well as throughout the week.
FAITH SPARKS ages 2-3 with caregiver 9:15am-10:15am on Sundays, Sept-May Located in the KidZone. Faith Sparks is a hands on, sensory driven ministry that will focus on parents (or their other caregivers) working with thier young child to help begin their sparks of faith!
KINGDOM QUEST 4years-4th grade 9:15am – 10:15am on Sundays, Sept-May Located in the Re-Creation Center. Kingdom Quest is our dynamic and interactive family based education.
EXPLORERS 5th-7th grades 10:30am-12:00pm on Sundays, Sept-May Located in the Re-Creation Center. Where students can embark on an active exploration of life while wrestling with questions about God. Lunch is included.
eMERGE 8th grade -12th grade 11:30am-1:00pm on Sundays, Sept-May Located in the Worship Center. Students have an opportunity to develop a greater understanding of God and their unique selves in relationship to God and each other. Lunch is included.
We offer fun summer activities too – Mega Sports and More: an outrageously fun camp where kids get excited about Jesus, New Life Splash and Bash night at the Sun Prairie Aquatic Center, Grill Nights and more.
