The Men’s Ministry at New Life Church provides an opportunity to connect, serve, and reach out to other men. Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming atmosphere for men and to provide opportunities for discipleship and spiritual growth and develop a closer relationship with God in our daily living.
Join us to explore and to become the men God intended us to be. Together we can learn to discover our true gifts, passions, and masculine identity and develop the character of Jesus in our lives.
Men’s retreats where time is spent studying a specific book, solitude time and just being together experiencing the call of the wild, such as whitewater rafting, and getting out of our comfort zones.
Book studies are encouraged if someone has a specific book they want to discuss as a group.

This gathering for men is facilitated by Doug Nelson. This group focuses on healthy lifestyles and spiritual vitality. Its design is to take a comprehensive step into our true masculine design. If you wonder about success and being good enough, if you are challenged by a big issue or concern, if you’re threatened by a compulsive behavior or addiction, or if you’re curious where God really fits into your life, then this might just be the gathering for you.
This is a group of men who meet to talk about living healthy lives and how God can really be involved. It’s not a 12-step, recovery, or therapy group. In strict confidentiality, they talk, listen, pray, grow, and encourage each other to become who God created them to be by living God-informed and God-filled lives.
In “Stanchion” there is no negative judgment or condescension. Instead, there is an openness to possibilities and encouragement for life’s journey.
For questions call Doug Nelson at 239-8935. Register online. Invite a friend.
