Timeless Wisdom: The Seven Virtues of Men

Monday, May 6

6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

For centuries, being a man meant living a life of virtue and excellence.  Our focus will be on seven virtues of the masculine.  How do we remain the excellent men we are created to be?  Pastor Rob will facilitate the gatherings.  Gathering began January 14.

We’ll have some fun, enjoy the company of other men, and perhaps even plan a road trip.

If you have been visiting here a short while or a long while—this class can be a beginning step toward greater connection within the New Life community.  Ann Walsvik, our Director of Ministries will be on hand to help you find ways to discover more about yourself, God and others.  We learn a bit more about ourselves through a learning styles inventory and discuss how this can guide our connections in the various opportunities we offer at New Life Church.  Join us!  Meet guests and visitors who also desire a greater connection in faith to God and others too.

At the New Life Class, we’ll talk about life-enhancing opportunities offered at New Life and how we become part of them.  These opportunities include our New I’s Welcome Teams, ACCESS Courses, Family Faith Formation on Sundays and many more.

Membership at New Life Church is a privilege and an honor.  It means being involved in the life & mission of the congregation.   A New Life Member intentionally engaging in getting to know God and following God’s principles for effective living.  A member participates in ministry activities, worship, invitation and financial support of New Life Church.

Every year in the spring  and fall, we recognize all those becoming members at New Life Church during worship.

Each year we host this event to promote summer fun and good time together, enjoying the many blessings we have as God’s children.  Free swimming and Culver’s Ice Cream!  Invite your friends and family to join you. There is lots of time to visit with friends and to meet others you have not had a chance to get to know yet.

A fun evening with lots of laughter, good times and great food. Kids are invited to come and play while adults share time with other adults. This event is by invitation for our newer members, guests and visitors and some of our key leaders. Come and get to know others that are new to New Life while also meeting leaders of many of our ministry opportunities. Relax and “Chill Out” while you “Chow Down” some great home-cooked food! These options are scheduled a number of times throughout the year.  Dates are announced in our New Life Happenings page of the website or in our bulletin or regular emails.
