New Life Church

Family Faith Formation at New Life is just that!  Families walking in Faith together.  Families who travel and seek God together on a journey of faith develop a richer, deeper more lasting faith.  Children’s greatest teachers are parents.  Parents who model the practices of worship, education, prayer and other spiritual disciples encourage their children to do the same.

Our theme is “Two Hours on a Sunday.”  Our hope is for each family to give to God “Two Hours on a Sunday” through
Worship - celebrating God in community with others and
Faith Formation - growing in our understanding and knowledge of God in a variety of opportunities.

We offer Faith Sparks for families with children ages 2-3, Kingdom Quest for families with elementary age children, Explorers for Grades 5-7 and eMERGE for Grades 8-12.   Adult classes are listed on our Access page.  Check out details listed here.

God’s Girls Ministry

Through our love and faith in God, we can all do amazing things.

Join us for discussion time the first Sunday of each month:

We will meet to discuss a topic girls (nearing the end of 4th grade and up) can relate to.  Using a Bible verse, we will work together to see the situation and feelings from a new perspective so these times can help move us forward instead of feeling like they are holding us down.  Join us Sunday, May 5   11:45 a.m.

 Join us for our Activity Gathering:

In addition to our monthly discussion time, we also meet once a month for an activity. 

Join us on Saturday, May 18 at 9:00 a.m. We will meet at New Life Church then carpool to the Dane County Humane Society for a tour.  After the tour we will return to New Life Church for lunch and discussion.  Please bring a sack lunch and any items to donate.  The Dane County Humane Society has a wish list online at http://www.giveshelter.org/wish-list.html.  Permission slips and waivers are required to attend.

Please join us!  We encourage you to invite a friend.  Girl’s ages 10 (nearing end of 4th grade) and up are welcome.  You are not required to have participated in previous Girl’s ministry events, just come to the ones you can.  We hope to see you there!

Keansburg, NJ

July 6-14, 2013

For our Youth Mission Trip 2013 we will be headed to Keansburg, New Jersey July 6-14.  This is a great way to serve others, serve God and have a great time all at the same time.  Interested adults, parents and students (those who will be in 9th grade in fall 2013 and up) are encouraged to contact the church office or register here to show your interest in participation in the trip.  It costs some money to attend the trip, but together we can do miracles, we don’t want the cost to keep you away.  Participation in fundraisers and asking for support from others are just a few of the ways you will gather funds and prayer for your trip.  We will be holding meetings with more information.  If you have further questions contact John or Mary Rauwolf at 846-9095.

A creative and exciting celebration plus faith formation opportunities for children ages 4 through 4th grade and their families. Friends are always welcome!  Our faith is developed as we walk together on a journey of awareness of God as we interact together in community, encouraging one another.  Growing in faith together encourages awareness of God in our families.
Kingdom Quest is our primary faith foramtion opportunity for children and families. We welcome you to join in our hands on faith formation experiences.

JOIN THE FUN!

In order to provide a “warm welcome” and genuine hospitality for our Kingdom Quest Kids and families we are in need of individuals and families to provide a friendly face of greeting and/or a fun activity on Sunday mornings.  You can be a huge blessing for kids that are transitioning from their home lives into faith formation time here at New Life. Kids arrive at a variety of times and are hoping to make a connection with others when they arrive. You can be that connecting point and bless others with the light of Jesus.

Transition Team members will partake in a variety of opportunities including greeting kids as they arrive and helping families enroll and become familiar with the program. Other team members will lead a short 15 minute activity or two with the kids as they arrive and before the program actually starts. This is a time when you get to interact with the kids and get to know them individually.

Activity based learning. Lots of hands-on, outdoor adventure and fun experiences about Jesus. Bring your friends and questions about God. KidZone offers our younger children a space where they can explore the world that God has given them and to build friendships.  While we support families worshiping together we also want parents to be able to actively worship and participate in other opportunities that are offered on Sunday mornings.  We are located in the education wing (classroom B-to the left of the hall).  We welcome children ages 3 and under during 9:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday Worships.

New Life Church is offering kids in K-5th grade (for the fall 2013 school year) an awesome time. We want to give kids the chance to learn more about different activities, discover character-building concepts modeled after Jesus and other Bible notables, and have a whole lot of fun.

At Mega Sports and More, kids have the opportunity to participate in two activities.  This year they get to choose between Basketball, Soccer, Kickball, Ultimate Frisbee, Cheerleading, Arts & Crafts, Board Games and Gardening.

It doesn’t matter if they’ve played all their lives or just started yesterday, Mega Sports and More helps kids develop skill in that area.  All sorts of fun drills, practice games and coaches instruction will get kids focused on the fundamentals that help build character traits that will guide them all their lives. Plus, Mega Sports and More creates a positive and encouraging environment that pumps up their confidence and assures them they are the image of the living God.

Between the several sports sessions, arts, and games, coaches guide the kids with songs, stories, and cool object lessons that help the character-building themes take hold in kids’ hearts.  And most importantly, kids will discover God’s great love for them.
